Accion Group acted as the Independent Evaluator for the Georgia Power Company 2023 Biomass RFP.

Black Hills Energy’s 2030 Ready RFP solicited 400 megawatts of renewable energy and battery storage projects to meet the Company’s goal of achieving an 80% reduction in emissions by 2030.  Bids were received in October, 2023 with final projects identified in May, 2024.

Georgia Power Company’s (“GPC”) 2023/2024 RFP for Utility Scale (“US”) Renewable Generation issued to continue the expansion of renewable development for the benefit of Georgia Power’s customers. This was the second of two RFPs to meet the utility scale procurement requirements. Accion Group provided the procurement platform and acted as the IE for this RFP.

Accion Group acted as the Independent Evaluator for the Georgia Power Company 2022-2028 Capacity Needs RFP which sought between 1,000 and 3,000 Megawatts of capacity and energy resources.

Accion Group acted as the Independent Administrator for the Competitive Procurement of Renewable Energy (CPRE) Tranche 2 Program, which successfully procured 664 MW of solar energy for Duke Energy. Accion participated in all aspects of the program, from preparing the draft and final Request for Proposal documents through the final evaluation of all submitted Proposals.

Cleco Power issued its 2024 Renewable RFI with the goal of replacing or supplementing its existing power supply resources to efficiently and reliably meet the company’s long-term electric power requirements. Accion Group acted as the Independent Monitor for the RFI.

In 2020 Black Hills Energy Renewable Advantage successfully procured the company’s first utility-scale solar project: a 200 MW solar project in Pueblo County. Accion Group worked closely with Black Hills Energy to develop the customized solicitation platform, and acted as Independent Evaluator for the RFP solicitation.

Accion Group acted as the Independent Evaluator for the San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) 2020 EcoShare RFO.

Accion Group acted as the Independent Monitor for the Georgia Power Company Renewable Energy Development (REDI) solicitations, including the 2018/2019 Utility Scale, the 2020/2021 Utility Scale, the 2017 CS DG, the 2017 Customer & Industrial, and the 2018 DG programs.

Accion Group acted as the Independent Evaluator for the Southern California Edison 2020 Disadvantaged Communities Green Tariff (DAC-GT) and Community Solar Green Tariff (CS-GT) RFOs.

Accion Group created the platform for, and acted as Independent Evaluator for the Tucson Electric Power (TEP) Wind, Solar, and Biomass solicitations in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Accion Group provided the online platform for, and acted as Independent Evaluator, for the Xcel Energy / Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) All Source RFP in 2017.

Accion Group provided the online platform for, and acted as Independent Evaluator, for the Black Hills 2017 Eligible Energy Resources (EER) RFP.
